My Story

I’m Tricia!    

Let me begin by saying:

And I’m so glad to see you here!

 

 

I know there are a lot of choices out there when looking for notary public and loan signing services, so you might be wondering what makes People Centric different? Why should I choose People Centric for my notarial and loan signing needs?

 

First, I will tell you what I won’t do. I won’t tell you not to look at the other notary public businesses out there or that they won’t provide you with the answer or service you are looking for. I believe in the golden rule.  I am a big believer in building up those around you, including those in the same line of work.

 

BUT

I can tell you this:

I am passionate about people and making a difference

 

Why? Why am I passionate about people and making a difference?

 

From being a little girl to where I am now, everyone that knows me will tell you this has always been a part of me. But that still doesn’t really say much. I think it's important to share a little more about who I am and how I got here so you will know what makes People Centric, well...People Centric.

I have to warn you though, and you may already know, that there are a lot of articles on the internet that will tell you to keep things like this short.  They will tell you that most people won’t take the time to read and that most will lose interest. But I am going to go out on a limb, because

 

I feel it is the best way for you to get to know the face of People Centric.

So please...

I ask you to stay just a moment or two longer and continue to read...

 

I promise to keep it as brief as possible while giving you more insight about me, my passion for people

and making a difference, and what I can promise to give you when you use my services.

Early on, I was raised with a strong sense of family values. Actively participating in school and church activities,

mission trips, and volunteering. I always loved being able to help and being able to bring joy to someone’s day.

The best part always was getting that smile back and knowing I helped make someone's day better.

​

When 9/11/2001 happened, our country changed forever. I knew after those events took place that I had to do something to help, to make a difference, and to make an impact. It did not take much thought as I was no stranger to the military. I was a proud daughter of a Korean War Veteran, the niece of a WWII Veteran, and a granddaughter of a Naval Officer.

So I decided to join the Army National Guard, and I considered it a privilege and one of the best moments in my life. 

 

When I returned to the private sector, I decided to continue my education, but shortly thereafter I faced a new set of challenges. My mom passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 64, and I became the full-time caretaker of my father who had the onset of dementia. It was a time I treasured, and for the next 8 years, I had the joy and blessing of caring for him until he passed.

 

When I re-entered the workforce, I worked in the world of finance and accounting.  I enjoyed it and did well.  I loved what I did and was able to work for great companies within medicine, social services, and the aging community.

I am proud and grateful to have worked with such diverse cultures and demographics.

 

However, it was that same corporate world that showed me the pitfalls and shortcomings when it came to servicing others. I knew that putting the needs of the client; being genuine, considerate, and kind did not mean you had to sacrifice quality, efficiency, or accuracy.  That’s when I found myself looking for other opportunities that would allow me to take my experience and knowledge and create something. 

​

And that’s when People Centric was born.
